Meru Governor Peter Munya has urged the Muslim community in Meru to start a sharia sacco saying the county is willing to offer seed capital.
Munya said the sacco will enable members invest in the county.
The governor urged the national government to issue ID cards to Muslims born in Meru who saying they should be registered as soon as possible.
